Match Announced for Shimmer Weekend!

For the past few days Shimmer has been announcing matches that will be on the match card for this weekend’s tapings for volume 23, 24, 25, and 26.
Since Nikki Roxx returned to SHIMMER in mid-2008, she has, more often than not, taken on younger competitors who made their way to SHIMMER during Nikki’s year away from the promotion.
As one of the original sixteen women who helped launch SHIMMER in 2005, Nikki is a wrestler who many of the newer stars on the roster have sought to build their reputation at the expense of. Though women such as Nicole Matthews and Danyah were unable to score a win against Roxx during 2008, the UK’s Jetta was one SHIMMER competitor who succeeded accomplishing that task, but it was with the help of raking Nikki’s eyes first.
Cat Power is another athlete who knows how to use her fingernails to her advantage. Despite earning a submission victory against Daffney on Volume 20 with the figure four leglock, Cat was unable to score subsequent wins in outings during our final 2008 taping, though she did put in strong efforts during both of those bouts. Will Cat be able to raise her stock in the SHIMMER ranks and claw her way to victory against an established SHIMMER star? We will find out in just a matter of days!
On Saturday, May 2nd at the Berwyn Eagles Club (6309 26th Street) in Berwyn, IL, Cat Power will test her skills against Nikki Roxx!
General admission tickets are still available along the left column of the main page at www.SHIMMERwrestling.com right now.
That “Suspension Rumor” Update
Thanks to FK9 for updating the site with some current information that seems to be supporting “that suspension rumor.”
Q&A at pwinsiderxtra.com
“What’s the latest with TNA Knockout Roxxi (Nikki Roxx)? I haven’t seen her on Impact! fow quite some time? Any problems? What’s the current plan for her?
Roxxi is expected back at the June Impact tapings. I discussed much more on her status on yesterday’s PWInsider.com Elite Hotline.”
Upcoming event for J.A.P.W

JAPW returns with the Women’s Division superstars at the Rahway Rec Center, 275 East Milton Ave. Belltime: 4:00pm. Nikki is scheduled to appear on the show and as treat I will be posting captures of her previous appearance with JAPW that was on January 10, 2009 when she went against Cheerleader Melissa. That should be coming soon to the gallery so stay tuned for that.
Taylor Mentions Roxxi
In a recent interview over at Taylor-Wilde.Org, Shantelle Taylor has mentioned Roxxi. Read below to see what she said.
Q: Which TNA Knockout do you get along with the best? The worst?
A: All the knockout’s have wonderful personalities. We are one big, happy, dysfunctional family. Since Roxxi and I share a brain 90% of the time, I’m going to go with her. I miss my tag partner.

Rumors 2.0: Unofficial 60 Day Suspension
According to Diva-Dirt.com and TheSun.Co.Uk, Roxxi may have been suspended by TNA for two months following the “rumored” backstage altercation with Rhaka Khan that is now reported by Diva Dirt to be legit. Rumours about Roxxi has been popular on news sites as of late so we do not know for sure whether these are accurate.
All I can say is, Nikki has not mentioned any of this to the website and if there is any truth to it, she is probably not allowed or wants to comment on the situation so I’d hate to approach her about this. I guess the only good news we got from this bit is that she is staying in TNA and is just put on the sidelines for the moment, if this story is true or what not.
Contrary to rumours that they are in the midst of being released, we can reveal that TNA Knockouts, Rhaka Khan and Roxxi have been suspended following their legit backstage brawl, which we reported on last month. Both have been suspended for two months.
Rumours began circulating last week, that they along with Jacqueline, would have their contracts expire soon and it wasn’t expected that TNA would pick them up for renewal. While I can’t comment on their contractual status, it looks like rumours of the pair being released can be quashed, as they have simply been sidelined due to a backstage altercation.
-Diva-Dirt.Com
Roxxi and Rhaka Khan are serving unofficial 60 day suspensions. Neither were brought to the television tapings last week after the backstage altercation at the last tapings.

Shameless Plug: A-Lane.Org

As a favor I’m doing for one of my buddies, I’am shamelessly plugging A-Lane.Org, the newest fansite dedicated to Shimmer’s Ashley Lane aka Madison Rayne. My good friend Doug owns the website and it just opened so you should definitely give it a look if your an Ashley fan.
Nikki’s response regarding recent articles
As I mentioned on the update below, I did get a hold of Nikki about the recent article pwpix.net has posted and got a response from her. Heres what she says.
Hey Kristine!
Firstly thanks so much for the bday wishes! My grandma is in the hospital and I’ve pretty much been living there except when I have shows.
As for news sites they’re hit or miss. Sometimes dead on and others not so much. My contract is up in October so I still have lots of time. If it is true it was never mentioned to me and if that’s the case it just gives me an opportunity to go elsewhere.
Don’t ever worry about emailing! I have no problem with it
Thanks girl!

TNA Reportedly Letting Four Wrestlers Go Including 3 Knockouts
Whether or not there is any truth to this bit of news, if you are a Roxxi fan and want to see her back on tv soon than please kindly send an email to TNA. You can find their contact information here. I’am so struck by this that I will be emailing them and you should as well. The more emails, the better.
I will also be contacting Nikki regarding this situation and will try my best to get an answer from her.
In case you haven’t noticed, two TNA wrestlers besides Jacqueline and Kip James are no longer being used — Roxxi and Rhaka Khan. You can add them to “not being brought back” pile.
All four of their contracts are set to expire soon and TNA officials have reportedly decided against renewing all of them.
