Apparently there was a lot of heat backstage at last night’s TNA Slammiversary when Roxxi showed up at the building and was informed that her match with Madison Rayne would be with her career on the line and she would be losing. Roxxi was described as “visibly upset” before and after her match. Roxxi was working on a nightly deal with TNA and was brought back to fill the void after Tara left and Angelina Love & Daffney went out with injuries. With Love and Daffney ready to return, it’s possible TNA creative didn’t have anything for Roxxi after last night’s show.
I for one am disgusted with the way that Roxxi left TNA. She deserves so much better than what happened last night. Edited: I got to talk to Nikki on Monday- she’s doing well, and is keeping her head high after what happened. She also said she’s very proud of what she’s achieved in her TNA career. We’re proud of you too, Nikki!
I’m unsure of the date, but another set of iMPACT spoilers featuring Roxxi have emerged! Highlight below to read:
Rosie Lottalove (Betsy Ruth) vs. Roxxi. During the match, Madison Rayne runs down and gives Roxxi a belt shot while the ref isn’t looking. Rosie doesn’t like it and argues with Madison. During this Roxxi schoolgirls Rosie for the win. Afterwards JB interviews Rosie and asks what was going on. She says if Madison thinks she can take out all the ugly people one at a time she’s got another thing coming because she’s big, she’s bad, she’s beautiful and she’s got a whole lot of love for everybody. She lays a big kiss on JB and leaves.
We know you’ve had some questions about Nikki in regards to her standing with TNA, her injury amongst other things, so we emailed the 10 most asked questions, and she has kindly answered them!
01) What are the details of your injury- how did it happen, how long roughly will you be out of action for?
At the end of my match on New Years Eve vs Hamada we kind of lost balance and me foot decided to go and opposite way then my leg. I felt a couple of pops and knew I broke something. Turns out it was my leg/ankle in 2 different places. Not sure how long I’ll be out of action. I’m hoping maybe another month tops.
Roxxi revealed on her Twitter that she was going home with crutches. It’s now been confirmed by Dixie Carter (who uses Twitter way too much!) that she’s broke her ankle in 2 places. We’d like to wish Roxxi a quick recovery, and we hope she’s back in the ring soon!
EDITED: Nikki has revealed that she will be out for 6 weeks. We still wish her well!
I think Kristine will be wandering why I am updating, but when something needs to be said about Roxxi, I will post it on here. Now you will have to brace yourselves for this (including Kristine who has no idea what I am doing updating!).
I’ve been speaking to Nikki/Roxxi, and in addition to the exclusive interview on May 12th, R-L.Org has a new status: ROXXI-LAVEAUX.ORG/NIKKI-ROXX.ORG IS NOW THE OFFICIAL WEBSITE!!!!!!!!!!! I do have the printshot to prove it which you can view here. I know how much this site and Roxxi means to Kristine, and I know her pretty well. She will be THRILLED once she gets online and sees the title bar above saying the OFFICIAL website! This will not change the fact that this is probably one of the coolest sites on the web today, and I feel Kristine deserves some “officialness!”
I’ve been looking around on ShopTNA.Com, and I found that Roxxi has a new promotional photo! It’s from an unreleased shoot (just like the previous one), and I really hope TNA releases a shoot of Roxxi of some sorts: she’s been there long enough!
